Organic Cat Grass Seeds | 6-Day Harvest

Just planted a few days ago in my cat's cat grass holder. This is a nice mix of different grasses that cats seem to love, especially the barley. Already coming up, even in the cold temps of an unheated room. Need to safeguard it from the cat as he has spied it growing and is very determined to mow it down. So, should be a hit once it roots and grows enough for munching.

I planted some of these seeds in a planter box and put it inside a large bird cage with a grow lamp above it and inside my house. Every time my 2 cats hear the squeak of the bird cage door opening, they make a bee line to it. Both of them absolutely love this grass. I will cut off about a 1 1/2 inch piece off of the top of 7-8 of them and they very quickly grow right back. They only took 3-4 days to completely sprout, so I didn’t have to wait very long to treat my cats to something they really like. They haven’t tired of it in 3 months, so, I assume they won’t stop liking it. They tend to eat something a couple of times and then turn up their noses to it. I wish I had done this years ago. I can only speak in superlatives about this.

My kitty loves having her own cat grass, so we've tried several over the years. (It started as a bribe so she'd stop digging up my succulents - and it worked!)The seedboy organic grows faster, lasts longer, and looks healthier than any other brand I've tried. It also causes fewer stomach issues; with other brands I was always cleaning up cat vomit. This brand digests well with only a few cleanups. It's also easy to care for, with minimal water and sunlight requirements. You can see some browning in the 4 week grass, but I suspect this is because it only receives heavily filtered sunlight.I highly recommend this seed!(The green and white plastic grower in the picture I recommend it too. It comes with seeds and vermiculite as a growing medium. I actually prefer these Seedboy cat grass seeds over the ones included, but I've continued to grow plants in an organic vermiculite.)

I didn’t exactly follow the instructions at first, but I was curious to see what would happen. After taking the saran wrap off the three containers I was working with, I let them sit for about two hours. To my surprise, I could already see little shoots of grass starting to appear. Of course, I couldn’t bear to throw them out then!I gently raked them with a fork to remove some of the dirt off the top of the seeds, then set them outside. They got sun Tuesday afternoon, and I left them in the sun all day Wednesday. By Thursday morning, they had grown into pretty little containers of grass. I left them outside until about three that afternoon and then gave them to my kitties—who were absolutely thrilled!I didn’t put the cover back on, as instructed, and that works fine for my older cats. But I can see the little one wants to dig, so I may need to keep a cover on his for now. Since they all share, I’ll just have to work around that.I also have a fourth container I’m going to restart using the recommended method from start to finish. But honestly, I’m already thrilled! This has been the best success I’ve had so far with cat grass. It grows quickly, looks great, and the cats clearly love the taste.

We got this seed so our cats had some green in there diets. As per the directions it has thrived growing at a fast rate. Nice green lush fullness. The texture is soft and just how are cats want to dive into it. If you use the seed trays like we do to grow the cat grass the seeds don't fall through the holes. The seeds are a good size that they stay in the tray. The quality of the seeds are very good, we have not had any that have not grown. They have all grown that we have started. I highly recommend this seed as we will buy this again!!
