Common causes: not enough rinsing, poor drainage, or temperatures too hot/cold. Make sure seeds stay moist but not waterlogged.
We recommend sprouting our pre-made blends as-is. Mixing seeds with different sprout times can lead to uneven results.
Fill a bowl with water and empty the sprouts into it. Hulls float to the top. Skim or pour them off. A few remaining hulls are fine to eat.
