Sunflower grows best in a tray with soil and light - you'll get thick stems and big, leafy greens. The jar method works too, but growing as microgreens makes it much easier to remove the hulls.
A 5" x 5" growing tray, potting soil or coconut coir, and a spray bottle. A humidity dome for the first few days helps too.
8 days from soak to harvest. You'll see tiny tails on day 2, green leaves by day 4, and a full harvest by day 8.
Stored in the fridge, fresh sprouts last 5-7 days. Give a final rinse and drain well before refrigerating.
Sealed in a cool, dry place, sprouting seeds stay viable for 2+ years. No refrigeration needed for dry seeds.
Yes. Sprouts grow indoors on your countertop, so season doesn't matter. Room temperature (65-75 degrees) is ideal.

"High Germination -
Close to 100%."

Wonderful germination rate, around 95%. The sprout flavor is distinctly earthy and delicious, exactly what we hoped for. This price per ounce is impressive considering the germination rate, which is much higher than other brands I've tried.

"Fresh Sprouts on
Everything Now."

I started sprouting a few months ago and now I put them on everything. Eggs, sandwiches, salads. So easy to grow and the flavor is way better than anything from the grocery store. Already on my second bag.

Vitamin E Rich

One of the best natural sources of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that supports skin health and immunity.

Hearty & Filling

Thick stems and broad leaves make these microgreens substantial enough to use as a salad base on their own.

Nutty Flavor

A rich, sunflower-seed taste that works in salads, sandwiches, pesto, and even stir-fries.

Best Ways to Use Your Sprouts

Common Questions

Absolutely! Sprouting is beginner-friendly. Just soak, rinse, and drain. No gardening experience needed.

A mason jar, sprouting lid (or cheesecloth with a rubber band), and a spot away from direct sunlight.

No, this is seeds only. Jars and lids are sold separately.

All of our blends are beginner-friendly.

Yes, 100% USDA certified organic and non-GMO.

Most sprouts are ready in 4-6 days.

2-3 times per day. Rinse, drain thoroughly, and repeat.

Tap water is fine in most areas. If your water is heavily chlorinated, filtered water is better.

Room temperature (65-75°F) works best. Avoid extreme heat or cold.

Indirect light is fine. Avoid direct sunlight, which can overheat and dry them out.

Common causes: not enough rinsing, poor drainage, or temperatures too hot/cold. Make sure seeds stay moist but not waterlogged.

We recommend sprouting our pre-made blends as-is. Mixing seeds with different sprout times can lead to uneven results.

Fill a bowl with water and empty the sprouts into it. Hulls float to the top. Skim or pour them off. A few remaining hulls are fine to eat.

Toss them if they smell sour, look slimy, or have visible mold. Fresh sprouts smell clean and earthy.

This usually means inadequate drainage or not enough rinsing. Drain thoroughly after each rinse.

About 2 tablespoons of seeds yields 32 oz of sprouts.

Yes. Our seeds are pathogen-tested for safe raw consumption.

7-10 days when stored properly in the refrigerator.

Yes. Store in a container lined with a paper towel to absorb excess moisture.

Up to 2 years when stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Most varieties can. Sprouting is soil-free; microgreens require soil or a growing mat.
